http://courtneytech.com/2020/07/26/my-new-react-app/

This app was created using React.js, JSON, Html, CSS, npm, Github Pages. I really enjoyed creating this app and had some difficulties along the way with terminal losing the paths. It was a great learning experience ad I will be creating another app soon. This app allows you to search up a robot’s name and the cards will narrow down to the right selection. I used the JSON API.

Swift Visions

This site is a business site I created using WordPress.org. I created the site locally using MAMP and phpMyAdmin before exporting and importing it using a plugin on WordPress. I customized the site and chose the appropriate colors and content for the design.

Here is a fun Javascript project I completed it is a quote generator.

This site is for a commercial cleaning company named Chon’s Cleaning. I took the site from Square Space and revamped and styled the site using WordPress Locally before making it live. I reduced the content which was pages full of text and a few photos. By removing unnecessary text and photos the company was able to present a more polished website.

This is the site after I revamped it using WordPress

This is my Speed reading mobile web application. It was a fun app to create. The main goal was to find a fun way to inspire people to read. The whimsical style of the app was chosen because I see reading as a great way way to step into another world even if it is only momentarily. The app was created using Html5, CSS3, and jQuery. Though it has the ability to be a hybrid app on the app store my main goal was not to sell it and use it for my portfolio. The app has an about page and a contact page as well.

My two Shopify stores

Hollywood Girl store Is a brand I created based off of songs I’ve written and performed. I have embedded my song into the site. I also worked with a graphic designer to create two of the logos ad created another design myself. I am using Printify app to fill my store and designing the items with my own logo/ designs.

It is brand new and I am using this as a learning tool.

Here is the store connected by the plugin I created for the store to connect to this WordPress site.

You can also view my integrated store right here on my WordPress site. I connected my Shopify API to a plugin I created in WordPress.

The travel Anywhere Map App is for finding the distance between locations. I used Html5, Css3, and jQuery, and Google Maps API.
